Offset Bend Formula
An offset bend is employed when a SBT run must avoid certain obstacles.
To work out the correct lengths of an offset you must look at (E) the offset angle then multiply the offset sizing (O) by the bend allowance (A) from the table.
Example:
- Offset bend angle (E) 45ยบ
- Offset dimension (O) 150mm
- 150mm x 1.414 = 212.1mm (round down to 22mm)
